Tamás Bernáth will be the new CEO of Appeninn Holding Nyrt. The financial expert has previously served as Chairman and CEO of the Hungarian Development Bank and as Chairman and CEO of BNP Paribas Cardif Insurance. The main task of the new CEO will be to implement the dynamic growth strategy of the real estate investment and asset management company, listed in the Premium category of the Budapest Stock Exchange.
Tamás Bernáth holds a degree in law and an MBA from INSEAD. From 2004 to 2010 he was co-founder and managing director of Scale Consulting, a financial advisory firm, from 2010 to 2012 he was a partner in the consulting business of PwC Hungary, and from 2012 to 2014 he was managing director of OTP Bank and a member of the board of OTP Russia. From 2014 to 2016, he was Chairman and CEO of BNP Paribas Cardif Insurance and from November 2016 to March 2019, he was Chairman and CEO of Magyar Fejlesztési Bank Zrt.
The newly appointed CEO's main task will be to use his expertise in the world of finance, banking and project management to help Appeninn to implement its growth strategy. The company has ambitious plans in the retail and tourism real estate markets, as well as in the office market, both in Hungary and in the Central and Eastern European region, all of which will serve the company's long-term business success.
