Ongoing development project at Lake Balaton rolls on, partly thanks to grants received by Appeninn Nyrt.

Under the Kisfaludy Tourism Development Program, two subsidiaries of Appeninn Nyrt., PRO-MOT HUNGÁRIA Ingatlanfejlesztő Kft. and Solum-Invest Kft. received grants. As a result of succeeding at previous calls for proposals, the development project in the port of Club Aliga resort area, and the complete renovation of the port in Balatonfüred can begin simultaneously.

With the development of the previously worn-down port in the Club Aliga resort area, the Company aims at the renovation and expansion of the port area, which have great potential to boost sail boat tourism at Lake Balaton. At the same time, the complete renovation of the port of Balatonfüred, which can accommodate more than 170 sail boats, has also begun; thanks to that fact and the reconstruction of the pier not only the general, everyday functions are to be provided: Appeninn is also committed to turn this area into an even more attractive place for sail boat communities and sail boat competitions.

In line with its strategy updated earlier this year, Appeninn Nyrt. plans to put greater emphasis on tourism property development projects in the coming years. The first pillar of that effort could be the renovation of Club Aliga, and the port of Balatonfüred, which should strongly contribute to the growth of tourism at Balaton and Appeninn’s profitability once the state of emergency related to the Covid-19 pandemic is over.
