Appeninn Holding Nyrt. continues the implementation of its business strategy with a renewed management.

The Board of Directors of Appeninn Holding Nyrt. has elected a new CEO in the person of Györgyi Szűcs, who has been the company's Chief Financial and Operating Officer. The new CEO's primary tasks will be to implement the revised business strategy of Appeninn Holding Plc. adopted in February 2022, to support the development of the core business real estate portfolio, to expand the commercial and office portfolio in the CEE and SEE region and, of course, to improve business performance.

On 1 August 2022, Appeninn Nyrt. published an extraordinary announcement on BSE's website announcing that Dr. Tamás Bihari will step down as CEO. He has held the position since September 2020 and has helped the company to become one of the most influential Hungarian real estate investment companies.

The Board of Directors of the company has also decided to elect György Szűcs, who has been serving as the company's Chief Financial and Operations Officer since 2022, to the position with effect from 1 August 2022. Györgyi Szűcs started his career in 1992 as an analyst at what is now UniCredit Bank (then Creditanstalt Rt.). Her management career also started at UniCredit Bank, where she held management positions in risk management, contract writing, credit control, restructuring and work-out, and was a member of the management team responsible for these areas. At Indotek Group, he held the position of Senior Consultant from 2016 and was responsible for the management of specific priority projects.

Prior to his election as CEO, the Board of Directors of Appeninn Plc elected him as a member of the Board of Directors in April 2022 and, according to the company's special announcement published on May 6, 2022, as a senior executive with independent power of representation of the company's wholly owned subsidiaries operating the core business portfolio.

As part of this, the focus in the coming period will be on developing our core business real estate portfolio and making further acquisitions in Hungary and the region, while improving business performance and further strengthening shareholder value creation." - explained Györgyi Szűcs, CEO of Appeninn Holding Nyrt.
